To that 1 person who keeps playing this game
If you do end up reading this page, you have not gone unnoticed. I never really expected this game to go far. It was simply a school project about integrating some cloud software I will probably never use again.
I told myself that I'd never update this game because I want to leave it in a state that it's at its best. A immortalized version of my most successful project but seeing you coming back to this game over and over again for a very very long time has made me come back to it. I do wish to know what about this little game you enjoy so much so I may carry that aspect of it forward into the games I make into the future. If you do not end up reading this page, that's also fine as well. I just want to thank you for always playing this stupid lil game. :D
Updates
- Tower Lock On
- Let's talk about the elephant, the Humpty Dumpty and the fat woman of the room, tower locking on. For some GOD DAMN REASON, towers refuse to shoot and glitch out when units are entering and exiting justtt and the edges of the tower's range. I've finally fixed that, hopefully, and should now continue to aim just like any decent tower defense game.
- Buffed the Torcher
- This guy was seriously outclassed against Cryosis because it's the only tower that can effectively deal against speedsters. The fact that I made speedsters 75% more resistant to fire damage is stupid. All speedsters now no longer have increased resistance to fire damage.
- Boss Status Effect Resistance
- Did i forget to mention that all bosses in the game are 75% resistant to all status effects. That's kinda busted in hindsight. I've reduced them to 50% and hope that they're still boss enough to boss around.
- Minor Graphics Update
- I've upgraded the project to an experimental build of Unity (because the LTS versions seem to absolutely fail on my device) and experimented with color tints. I hope it isn't too blaring.
More updates will come over time, I hope. I've learned a lot during my hiatus from updating this game.
