Wave 25/25 Completed! [Final DevLog]

Hey! It's been roughly 7 months since my last development log for this game. Many apologies.

As shown in the front page, this game will no longer be receiving updates.

Why won't you be updating the game anymore?
I have been contemplating coming back to the game to add more content. However, I have since decided that it would be best to re-design certain aspects of the game to make it more lively. One of the primary aspects of the game that I've been wanting to upgrade was the terrain generation. The theme of the game after all is a tower defence game with randomly generated maps. Right now the maps that are generated are rather boring (at least to me it is) and have no depth.

Besides the functionality of the game, I have decided that I would leave the game as it is, kind of like a time capsule, frozen in time. A benchmark of what I am capable of given very little resources and a memorial to my first decently successful game that gave me my first few follows, donations and constant flow of views and browser players for so many weeks. (My stats have never been lively before so it came as a surprise that it got so much attention and for so long)

Often I found myself comparing myself to others, wondering if I could be doing more and that I am doing too little. This game will serve as my personal reminder that I have made something unique in such a short period of time and have added some minor value to my name. Even though it's a simple game with a simple twist on an existing genre, I still found ways to make it unique and mine and I will continue to cherish this game for as long as I breathe.

I hope you, the players, understand this decision of mine and any suggestions of improvements to the game will be directed into it's successor UnnamedTD 2. I greatly appreciate all the support for the game and I will continue to do my best and improve as a game developer.
