[v1.1.0] Bore Tank, Minor Bugs, Respawn Invincibility


Added a new tank that carves its own path on the map. Minor fixes with the [Invincibility] and [Home-Base Fortify] power ups

[Bore Tank]

A very slow moving tank with 10 points of health that destroys anything in its path. Unlike the other tanks, this tank aims straight for the base and ignores the player.


The 'Better Enemies' update is coming along fine. I managed to pull some of the path-finding mechanic into this bore tank as an experiment on how it would fit into the game. By the end of this week, another demo of the update will come out in the form of 2 new tanks which represent the 2 other behaviors of the 'Better Enemies' update. The overall update consists of 4 behaviors:

  1. Seeking the home base
  2. Seeking the player
  3. Coordinate matching
  4. Cartesian Axis aiming

More details about them will come out in the update itself.
With all these new tanks coming, a wave system is in due. The wave system should also see some new maps and map cycling. Hopefully this can be done before my school resumes.

[Re-spawn Invincibility]

It did not really make sense of the player to be spawn camped and be instantly killed so I added a 3 second [Invincibility].

[Bug Fixes]

  • Fixed [Invincibility] power up not stacking properly.
  • Fixed [Home-Base Fortify] not rebuilding base walls
