[V1.0.0] Cleaner structures


This update saw a rework and clean up of majority of the scripts using Semaphores to initialize scripts in the correct order. Here are some of the things I have added to the game:

  • 4 New Maps
  • Map Selector
  • Saving of high score and username
  • Support me page 

And here are some bug fixes:

  • Graphical Interfaces
    • Chronological Halt icon not disappearing after duration ends
    • Home-Base Fortification icon disappearing too soon, even before the effect duration ended
  • Game-play
    • Enemies could previously pick up the Home-Base Fortification power up and aided the player
    • Player's health not resetting when re-spawning, making the enemies bullet pass through the player
    • Base walls health not resetting when re-constructed, letting bullets pierce through all the way and ending the game sooner
    • Enemies settings were not initializing properly, causing some to behave differently than the others.

Future Plans:

For now, the more clear sighted plans are adding perks/abilities to the game and making the enemies far more smarter than just randomizing the movement and along with it, the wave system to properly spawn enemies in a structure so that I may finally add a big tank to the game. Its model is just sitting there in the files. After these 2 updates will probably come with the user interface update after I evaluate the theme of how it is supposed to look like so that it may fit with the game. Any feedback is greatly appreciated
