Hellooooooooo

It's been a very long while since I've uploaded a game. I thought I'd take the time for 1 week to try getting back into publishing games again. I have a horrible habit of starting projects and never finishing them.

This project is a little different. I didn't go for something ambitious, something daring and something never done before. All I did was try to make something and complete it. I think this is an issue I've been tackling the wrong way for quite some time now. I can't ever expect myself to finish something if all I'm ever doing is trying out something new, something never done before and something that pushes my boundaries. So I took a step back and tried something simpler.

Construct Blockade is (and hopefully will be) part of a long series of me uploading bite sized games continuously over a long period, each attempting to tell a story of a universe. A story that I've had in my head for the longest time now but never brought it to the physical plane.

I think there's something beautiful about the struggle of turning ideas into reality, to force something so elegant that it can take the shape into any desire into a fragile state where it can be picked upon, turned upside down and torched into flames. To force something out of the prison of the mind, the comfortable confines of imagination and the vastness of the what-ifs. 

I hope to complete more games this year and I hope that 1 of them will stick, resonate with the larger audiences and provide me the wings to take flight in this industry, until then, I will keep trying. Not just for me, but for you, and all who seek nothing but the best for me.
